Twelve years ago the original line-up of The Defector Frequency tore a hole through the Busan music scene with their infectious and innovative blend of UK Indie and Dance Music.

TDF quickly established themselves as one of the most in demand and hard gigging bands in the city, going on to win the 2010 Busan Battle of the Bands (the only year they were active), earning glowing press and radio coverage and a loyal gig following along the way.

Like all things in youth it all ended too soon, but here preserved in a time capsule are those original recordings from that set list. Busan around the turn of the 2010's wasn't just a place and time, it was a scene, a moment, a perfect storm of circumstances that will likely never come again. We are honored to have been part of your soundtrack to it.
